Last night, a young man at this restaurant went above and beyond to help me when the place was busy and I didn't catch his name. I wanted to express my gratitude to him! If there is any way to find out his name, please let me know so I can thank him properly. The service at this restaurant is always excellent, but he truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you! I would like to thank them for thanking the watchman who saw my four-year-old granddaughter, who arranged as if they were going to let him in rest. he couldn't know that her granddaughter had just been running to the car or that I wasn't far behind her. he discovered them and left his position to follow and make sure that she was in order. Maybe it wasn't her. shhe could have lost. and both woke were vigilant and rea... View all feedback.
The service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, with long wait times for below average food. Although the menu looked appealing, the dishes did not live up to expectations.
Visited here one lunchtime and was very disappointed. The staff were lovely and friendly but the food was awful. We waited about half an hour for our food and when it arrived it was inedible 3 hard dry chicken nuggets and a undercooked potato with a black bit in it. There are no chips allowed on the kids meals anymore as it’s a new healthy eating initiative, which is great but i take my children out for a treat they can eat healthy at home. The soup was cold and didn’t taste very nice. Such a shame as sainsburys cafe was a lovely lunch pre covid but it’s really gone downhill.
I visited the cafe at 11:00am on a Sunday morning. The cashier seemed inexperienced and I had to wait over 35 minutes for my breakfast, which still hadn't arrived. I ordered a coffee and a hot chocolate to go with my meal, but they were both cold. No staff members explained the delay to us. I was very disappointed with the customer service at Sainsbury's Longwater in Costessey. It would be faster to make your own breakfast. Overall, I was not impressed.
I am writing this review in response to Robert A's ageist comments about older people. I am over 70 years old and I prefer paying by card rather than cash. I have a discerning palate and have dined at top restaurants globally. Despite being a supermarket, Sainsbury's does their best to provide good coffee and food. Additionally, the staff are very pleasant.
As my kitchen was occupied by the contents of my lounge, due to doing my floor, my wife and I decided to get our breakfast at Sainsbury’s cafe. I had the big breakfast (not so big), she opted for scrambled egg, avocado and salmon. Mine was very disappointing, Wetherspoon’s do the best breakfast for this money. My wife was more pleased with hers. I couldn’t eat my sausages, it was very poor.
