My visit to a nearby campsite led me to discover a charming tea room that exceeded all my expectations. Despite arriving just before closing time, the staff graciously served me a hearty full English breakfast, warm buttered scones, a generous slice of walnut cake, along with tea and a perfectly brewed flat white coffee. They even accommodated my furry companion by setting up a table near the door for us to enjoy our... View all feedback.

I visited this café with a friend and my dog for breakfast all day. The café was chilly and the server was not friendly. We were not greeted upon arrival, which was disappointing. I would have thought a dog-friendly café would be more welcoming to our furry friends, but my well-behaved dog was given dirty looks. The breakfast was expensive and not very tasty, except for the sausages. I will not be returning, even tho... View all feedback.
Great bacon rolls cakes to take away. Looking forward to trying more next time!
We popped in for tea today, a very pleasant, welcoming place, that serves home made food, and delicious home made meat pies, and at a very competitive price. This was my first visit, and it defiantly won't be my last, and my freind who had the meat pie, (I tasted some) calls there on a regular basis with her sister. I fancied a big breakfast. Ten out of ten for food quality, nice staff, and cleanliness. Thank you Chalfonts.
Lovely tea/coffee shop. Does hot food as well includes Gluten free food if required. Lovely staff. A pleasure to go there. Highly recommend. Just on the corner of village green near public WC.
I dined with my family and found the restaurant to be very overpriced for the below-average quality of the food. Additionally, the owner had two young girls working for her, and the way she spoke to them in front of us made us feel uncomfortable. She seemed to belittle them in front of other customers, which was very awkward to witness. The girls appeared to be hardworking, but it was clear that the owner's behavior was making them nervous. The owner even shouted across the cafe in front of other customers, asking if they had taken our order correctly. Whether or not the girls were her relatives, it is no excuse to treat them unkindly. This experience left us feeling disappointed and we will not be returning.
