I decided to check out this delightful vegan and vegetarian café for lunch, and I'm so glad I did! Unfortunately, it's not open on weekends. An authentic, friendly experience at The Ambtious Act. Enjoyed the welcoming vibe and the more interesting options on the menu. The bean dish was delicious, I was told a recent addition to the menu. Nice place to sit and people watch. Also great coffee!

Came here for lunch and was blown away at the cuban sandwich I ordered. My friend had the philly cheesesteak sandwich that I tried some of and it was equally as good. The coffee is fantastic and the waiter was telling me how it comes from a local business. Fast and friendly service with nice decor. Price is reasonable. It's my new favourite place. A veg cafe run by creatives. Friendly, welcoming and always open to hosting any manner of script reads, film shoots and brainstorming sessions. Head upstairs to the more intimate lounge or enjoy the cafe vibe downstairs. My new favourite place in South Melbourne.
