Highly recommend this place! Situated right next door to the famous dim sims @ South Melbourne market. We tried a range of dim sum (BBQ pork buns, prawn & chive dumplings, scallop dumplings), plate of noodles & beef stir fry: delicious & reasonably priced! You can also take their dim sum home : just choose from their frozen selection from freezer. Nice seating inside to eat or outside tables to people watch. Friendly... View all feedback.

As a family group of 4 adults and 3 younger children the serves were good - However, our order was quite badly mixed up and the last meal (belatedly delivered to the table) was quite bland and did not represent what we "thought" we had ordered.Not-to-worry...found it all okay and at reasonable price and would probably go back to try something different.
We came quite late around 2:20pm on a Sunday but most if their yum cha dishes are already unavailable. I was so looking forward to my chicken's feet too! They then got our order wrong and did not deliver one of the dishes.
I use to love this place but i think they have change management in less than a year ago. Quality of food is not as good as it use to. Moreover, i think the price of food has increase much leading to sale of business and to be comparable with the competitors on the same street. To the new owners, i suppose you can maintain the price like your competitors if you maintain the quality like previously. Else, i think you make more money with lower prices and higher quantity like the south melbourne dimsim next door.

This Yum Cha is on the outside of the Sth Melbourne Market complex - so one has to accept the fact that it is not a posh place at all.BUT.... the food is made on the premises and is delicious. The sui mai, the bean curd wraps, chicken feet and the glutinous rice are all delicious; quality ingredients and lovely sauces.Superb - as good as it gets.Worth a visit for lunch; you will not be disappointed - deeee..licious
