Bedi's Indian - South Melbourne

Great little authentic Indian restaurant and take-away. The owners are a delightful couple, the food is great and reasonably priced. My only disappointment was they didn’t have goat on the menu. Regardless, the choices I made didn’t disappoint so I was glad I went.

Refused to deliver my order because I ordered the entree platter. I was really looking forward to that entree platter. If you have a minimum spend policy, you should be clear about it. Won’t be ordering from here again.

After many years away from Melbourne my wife and I caught up at Bedi's Indian Restaurant with some friends and colleagues I used to work with in the late 80's. We had used this restaurant regularly during my time in Melbourne and pleased to say the quality of the food is still extremely good. They provide a wide range of different types of Indian cuisine with good quantities of food supplied and the service is excellent. Mr Bedi has been running this business for over 30 years and he still maintains a very high standard of quality. Thoroughly recommend a visit

Staying in Southbank and looking for Indian, this is a very short drive away. Not crowded on a week night and good value for money. They had a couple of unique dishes and the service was very quick despite lots of takeaway orders flying out the door

Ordered delivery via Menulog, found a massive black hair in my curry. Rang the restaurant who didn't believe and made me drive down so I could show them> no apology given, ask for refund but the staff said he wouldn't. My entire meal was cold by the time I got to eat, Never again will I go back there. Very overpriced also!
