Went on. Saturday evening expecting restaurant to be busy but was just us. We were sat by the door to toilet corridor wedged open with fire extinguisher. The service however was excellent and the gorgeous waiter was very attentive! The food was tasty although portion size quite small. The Bar was busy! Worth a visit ! View all feedback.
What ehmd2023 doesn't like about The Strathaven:
Used to like coming here with friends for beers and burgers when they had vegan options, they've now taken all the vegan options off their menu. Shams to loose a place for meals out with friends and family, will be visiting a lot less frequently now. View all feedback.

Had dinner at The Strathaven tonight, it was only the snack menu due to the balloon festival but it was amazing and me and my partner couldn’t even finish what we ordered. The service was excellent as was the food. We will defo return.

Large hotel just outside of town with very helpfull and friendly staff. Large restaurant with a good menu. (If you like duck, give it a try) The room was good and the breakfast was very good. Price per person: £70–80 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
