we were already 4 or 5 times at peter and had brilliant food each time. fish is fresh and perfectly cooked soft and flocky, teig is crispy and light (almost tempura style) and chips are soft inside with a really nice crisp outside. fish is cooked to order as more than happy to wait when busy as it is a sign of fresh food! service is always friendly. one of the best, most consistent chippies around! What bex ahuja doesn't like about The Olive Tree:
The staff were friendly while the food wasn't the worst I'd tasted they wasn't the best either. I found it odd they didn't do plain pork sausages as my sons asd so he won't eat there smocked sausages. A lot different to cardiff!! View all feedback.
Fantastic eating at a great price would definitely recommend both the fish saucer and the heggis saucer. absolutely great!
Takeaway fish and chips that were…really good. Glad I took up a recommendation and visited.
Great fish supper. Light crispy batter on well cooked fish, some of the best chips we've had. Good portion size, although I did think about having seconds. We will go in again before leaving for home in the Highlands.
Wonderful fish and chips! Generous, freshly-cooked portion of battered fish with tasty chips.
The best fish and chips I have ever had. I never really understand the fuss of fish and chips until I ate these ones. Amazingly melted in my mouth.
