after a local football for a quick bite. great service, especially since I didn't want to use the app. that was not a problem, and our meals and drinks were within minutes with us. Many thanks to the employees who still work under restrictions. View all feedback.

we have dined here as a family and the place was dirty. the menus were so sticky that we couldn't open them. the table was dirty. the food was in order, but could have been better. the whole place was too dark and let us ask if they didn't really light up the restaurant because it would look even worse in good lighting. the staff were friendly and quickly brought us our food, but the venue needs attention to meet the... Personal friendly and very helpful. service was excellent. that could have been a bit warmer, but it was good. place beautiful inside and spotless. one of the best weather podons visited.
As a regular of this facility I can say that it is definitely one of the nicer wetherspoons in its region. the personal is very helpful while maintaining a professional service standard. they are very kovid strict and enforce the rules well, keep the place as covid safe as possible. it can be very busy at weekends who can wait in a waiting queue to get in. from my experience, this queuing system is not very efficient, it is just a case to try in instead of an official queen who can be quite frustrating. eating could do with some improvements, but they get what they pay, the drinks on the other side are great worth, probably one of the cheapest places for pint, a thing I noticed is that menu is cheaper than other wetherspoons operate. the beer garden is beautiful for sunny days and the inner is beautiful and cozy when its cold. the place has a lot of character about how it used to be a theatre as bingo, only in the last few years it has become a restaurant and a bar. weather its breakfast, lunch or dinner, the john fairweather makes a pleasant affordable place to eat and drink. but its probably best to avoid on Saturday night, as it can be a pain to get one, it may sometimes be common to find underwater drones and spicy, and at the rare opportunity, hardships. that makes it a star for me, sometimes there is a bouncer, sometimes there is not.
I love this pub and I am a regular but it is really annoying when they serve you a pint of fosters in a tennents glass or any other glass apart from a fosters glass. I have repeatedly asked the staff about it including the...manager but they just shrug their shoulders and say they don’t have any. Also they take forever to remove your plates or glasses from your table. I hate to moan so I hope a manager views this review.
