Guests appreciate the reasonable prices and enjoy a variety of menu offerings, though some express concern over the presence of dogs, which can impact the dining experience for those with allergies or sensitivities. Seasonal decorations and high-quality home goods add to the appeal, but the overall dining atmosphere can be marred by overpowering scents. Despite mixed reviews, many patrons return for the lovely outdoor seating and consistently good food.
I had a good experience at the cafe where I ordered bacon avocado on toast. The food was average, the staff were friendly, and our orders came out quickly despite a long queue. The prices were reasonable, but some may not like the presence of many dogs. The Christmas decorations were disappointing with overpriced and low-quality items. The smell of incense candles was overpowering, but the display of items was nice.
Beautifully presented Christmas collection and ornaments etc. Lovely to see but would need a very large house for a lot of the trees , garlands etc. Very expensive for most items. Toilets only available in the cafe which wasn’t very practical as there was a long queue outside which was not very practical in the pouring rain, so just abandoned the idea.
Had to leave restaurant/ coffee shop early due to the number of dogs 4/5 on the day of our visit ! On a very wet day , dogs in a restaurant are a no-no . In fact on any day , dogs in a restaurant are a no- no . Trying to enjoy coffee and snacks with the smell of dogs and barking dogs is a step too far . Watching members of staff making a fuss of the dogs ,petting them and then continuing to serve food to tables is a health and safety issue , as well as bad practice . I look forward to a response re this review .
The ambiance at this restaurant is delightful, but I was disappointed to discover that I was charged a different price for the same breakfast once again. One fried egg, one slice of toast, and one coffee cost me £5.60. Paying £2 for just one slice of toast seems excessive.
I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised to find a seat outside without having to wait in the long line that is usually there when I visit. The service was quick and efficient, and the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and fresh. Although the prices were slightly higher than what I typically pay for lunch, it was definitely worth it.
