Very nice dining room, very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was well presented but the beef in the pie was slightly undercooked and the vegetables were not hot. Nice hotel, food was good and the rooms clean and comfortable. Nice view over the river and mill complex. Swimming pool was a little tired, few plumbing issues but was clean and a good size. Staff were mainly friendly View all feedback.

read moreNestled by the River Clyde in a historic mill, this restaurant offers a charming atmosphere with friendly staff. While many patrons rave about the delightful afternoon tea and hearty dinner options, some diners experienced inconsistent service. Complaints included lengthy wait times and lukewarm dishes, overshadowing the overall enjoyment. However, several reviewers highlighted delicious food, particularly the steak and haggis pie, and praised the attentive staff during busier lunch hours. With scenic views and a relaxing setting, it remains a worthwhile destination, especially if visitors communicate their time constraints. Overall, it promises a blend of culinary satisfaction and scenic charm.
