Chicken tikka pasta in spicey sauce asked chef for extra spicey and chilli chef medhi job well done better than any Indians .ant that's a Italian man cooking. Halal option brilliant

New owner WOW the grub was great fantastic I really wasn't expecting it to be that good I'm really blown away!!! I really struggle to eat healthy halal food in Hamilton especially Italian there isn't a Italian that does halal option apart from equis the staff have good knowledge of halal diet as you should being in the food industry!! Well spoken polite nice clean crisp white uniform some places I have been to the staff look like they have got out same bed!! .I asked for halal option the young gentleman at the counter went and asked the chef and the chef himself came out and said how do you like it ? I said give me something nice he started saying have the pasta with the hot sauce so I did the way he described the dish to me the passion in his face I knew it was more then a job to this man he enjoys what he does .I have had lamb shanks the best I have ever tested, pasta, pizza words don't do the food justice. You try it !! The proof is in the pudding spectacular great staff and out this world grub really. Now I have some where in Hamilton to eat healthy food bravo .if you have halal dietary needs don't be put of by the Caucasian staff cleanest I've seen they even said you can't have this its got wine in it best honest staff I've met so for not just a sale to them it's about the customers

Ordered on the phone an hour later was told its on its way 30 mins later no you never ordered anything here goodbye wouldnt bother with this place again

It was my first visit to Equis in about twenty years and it will be another twenty years before I return I got a Battered Sausage and Chips the Sausage were tepid and barely edible and the Chips were only Luke warm and greasy and thankfully there was not a lot of them so therefor fewer to throw away . charging £5.50 for that you should be ashamed

We regularly come for ice cream, so thought we would try the cookie dough. Waited over twenty minutes for three cookie doughs. The cookie dough was not ‘doughy’ at all, in fact it broke the plastic fork provided. The sauce came in a syringe and had been sitting in the freezer along with our ice cream, so was difficult to get out of the tube. We were sadly disappointed with this experience as we love to come regularly for ice cream. Wouldn’t get the cookie dough again, waste of almost £15!
