Amazing service. So friendly and helpful. Three of us had steaks, 2 fillets and 1 ribeye. They were the best steaks we have ever had. Cooked to perfection. Beautiful.

Wow- what a perfect lunch experience- this is how all pubs should be! We were travelling south from Edinburgh and called ahead to book a table because they were showing the rugby at lunchtime. We received a warm welcome and were given a great table, slightly apart from the bar area and with a good view of the match on tv. Between the three of us we had breaded haddock, the famous steak pie and a chicken burger with cheese and bacon. Each of our meals were absolutely delicious and faultless. I’d go as far as to say it’s the best pub food we’ve had in years! Fresh, home made food made using great quality ingredients. The people (customers and staff alike) were friendly and welcoming. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much and we will be back!

The restaurant offers delicious, straightforward dishes in a casual atmosphere. Despite being quite busy when we visited, the service was exceptional. All of us loved our meals and are excited to come back soon.
