This restaurant has a fantastic location, right by the lake next to the Ambleside Boat Jetty. The views from the Beer Garden are amazing. Unfortunately, when we visited in the afternoon, the bar was not yet open at 3pm (we arrived at 2.50), and we were informed that they were not serving food due to a shortage of staff, only drinks. I and my friend visited and urgently needed feeding after a long walk. very reasonable prices for decent food that came very fast, magnificent view out, but I must comment on how beautiful the staff was. I made my partner wear a silly badge on his birthday day, and every server we talked to wished him a happy birthday and they even put on being dessert without asking them to make any special damps. we laughed about h...
