Red Dragon Inn - South Lakeland

Nothing special to see, but wow what a beautiful team of people work there. we have booked a table for four people for starters, two had grilled cocktail, two had black pudding with speck and pfefferminz sauce, that was really amazing! for the net had two steak and two steak pee. too much to eat, but excellent and they offer a 50% discount between 5,30 and 6,30pm so amazing value for money too. in the evening it was very good and would not hesitate to go back. has become the charming manager.

A great place to stay, a very cordial greeting from staff and charlotte could not be more than she could for us, all the information we needed for our stay was given with a beautiful chat from charlotte about the city history. our room was excellent with on suite beth room, very clean with a beautiful note of many tees, coffee, including hot chocolate with homemade shortbread a beautiful note. delicious food for our evening meal followed on the morning pasture, pasture, juice, coffee a selection of freshly prepared breakfasts included in the price. beautifully located on the main street in the picturesque village. we will definitely come back, do not want to go

Eight of us had a meal here on Saturday and I must say it was a very good experience. each one of us enjoyed eating and the service was excellent. there is a great choice of beating behind the bar and charley is always a great host.

Fabulous stay the room was beautiful, the staff was absolutely beautiful so very helpful and polite. as chef chef myself I know qood quality kitchen and the way the ingredients were cooked was very good in the did also understand everything was cooked to perfection and with great value. I will be highly recommended and will certainly be back in the near future.

My family and I stayed here to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday in Feb 2022. The manager Charlie was fantastic and saw to all needs as and when. The rooms were very tastefully decorated in a neutral way and the bathroom was magnificent. Breakfast was made to order more or less and was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend staying at the Red Dragon Inn in Kirkby Lonsdale.
