We were staying in the lodge which was so cosy and lovely. Had the vegan breakfast which includes vegan black pudding. Wow! They also have oat milk for tea /coffee. View all feedback.

Visited for breakfast. Staff are friendly, service is good and they are dog friendly. We had cooked breakfast one veggie and one not. Prices are reasonable. The meat breakfast was enjoyed although the egg was firm. The veggie one was not as enjoyable. It is...personal preference but the veggie sausages were not nice and the scrambled egg was dry. Impromptu stops in grasmere and a short look at happy cow sent us to heidis. sat outside in the sun and ordered a beautiful coffee and delicious falafel sandwich with chili jam, vegane mayo served with fries. basic prices and friendly service. really enjoyed our food
When we were usually on the go in grass, he was asked for coffee, what had been lucky, because we did not recognize heidi's vegan options. we had breakfast, but would come back to taste the vegan breakfast or sausage butter. had a delicious coffee..very friendly staff and I guess it's family running as they could not be more helpful and welcoming. updated by previous review on 2022-01-20
