Gillam's - South Lakeland

Gillam's serves the most delicious organic scrambled eggs on hot buttered toast that practically melts in your mouth. It is an incredible breakfast choice!

While staying in Ulverston, we decided to stop by Gillams for a quick breakfast. Even though we only had toast with jam and some hot drinks, it was a delightful experience. The young woman who welcomed us was cheerful, polite, and made us feel right at home.

A lovely welcome with an amazing offer of yummy vegetarian food. Fair trade coffee and organic food, an independent jewel for this town. The staff were excellent, friendly and fast. Homemade cakes and fresh vegetarian food. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Chose this venue after visiting the Laurel and Hardy museum. Loved the history of the place. Staff lovely food excellent

Always excellent! I just wanted to say a special thank you for the amazing gluten-free bread (Biona Rice and Sunflower Wholegrain). It's a refreshing change from the usual bland Tesco/Genius option. It may be a bit more expensive in the shop, but it's definitely worth it. If you're a fan of Tesco GF bread, this may not be your cup of tea.
