Being a Monday my usual place closeby was closed. Glad tried this as chips and all food purchased was really good. Chips were freshly cooked, really good, and spring roll was really really tasty. Steady stream of customers and nice staff. View all feedback.
What Jo nny doesn't like about Chippy Bank:
I paid $4.70 for a small portion of very yellow chips and a warm Holland's pie that was not hot. It wasn't the best value for the price. Both the pie and chips tasted bland. The service was okay but not very inviting. I understand that you can't expect much for under five dollars, but I might consider trying somewhere else next time. First class, great menu, delicious food, well presented and very good prices. fish and chips, as I remember them as a child, love it.
Easy to find in the town centre. Great friendly service and the staff were welcoming. Staff wore face masks, which was reassuring. Food preparation was super fast. Fish and chips were excellent. The batter was crispy and just right. Portion size was reasonable. Some of the double seats are a little cramped if sitting next to somebody. Food prices were slightly higher than average. Well worth a visit.

Wasn't great I'm afraid, possibly a one off I'm not sure. Soggy pastry on a pie bland please in need of a little something and chips were nothing special. Sorry chippy bank not a great visit
Always great food, staff are so friendly and accommodating, best chicken nuggets in town!! Great prices too!
