The Free Bird - South Lake Tahoe

Love free vogel - both places. I always get a (locally made) bagel with vegan cream cheese. they also have been baked that are vegan. they offer several milk alternatives for tea and coffee drinks and they have fantastic smoothies and açaí dishes. in any case stop on the way!

Nice, tiny and reverent place. immediately welcomed by two friendly staff who were more than happy to meet vegan needs. I have the fruity power bowl and my man has the hemp-based power bowl. we loved both of us, and the drinks were also delicious! let's go next visit to any case tahoe.

I love the smoothies at freebird. I visited every time I go to the lake tahoe. this last time I went, I was very hungry and on vacation and saw some very tasty looking baked and a basket for sale. I told the person behind the counter that I was vegan, but then I wanted to take one because the baked looked too good. she actually prevented me from buying the product and told me she would make me a bit vegan. then she made me a tasty tasty bite by hand from scratch. she gave it to me without complaining. I found it later in the menu and it costs $2.50 they have the love to vegans here and delicious good healthy smoothies.

The best coffee I've had in ages!!! The pot pies were amazing too, everything was so delicious and we were in and out of there in no time. Very cute atmosphere and friendly staff. Smelled like homemade chai when we walked in, and they use all organic dairy for the coffee drinks. We will be back for sure!
