As a Mexican from Southern California, where taco stands are plentiful, I have to say that this restaurant probably wouldn't thrive in Los Angeles or San Diego. The food is decent but not particularly flavorful. The service is good, but it seems like there isn't as much competition in Tahoe to push for a more delicious array of seasonings and flavors. The food is decent but not particularly flavorful. The service is good, but it seems like there isn't as much competition in Tahoe to push for a more delicious array of seasonings and flavors. Also, the salsa here is very spicy, so be cautious if that's not your preference.
This restaurant serves incredibly delicious homemade food. I walked half a mile to get there, and I would gladly walk even further - despite being in my 60s.
