I had the Philly sandwich but chicken I wasn’t much of a big fan of it. I’ll rate it maybe a 4.5/10. I went back today and had the turkey bacon bring back to life on a jalapeño bagel with cream cheese that was 8.5/10 ? can’t wait to try the blueberry one. I do recommend this place over a few breakfast spots View all feedback.
What Johnny L doesn't like about Tahoe Bagel Company:
Call me sensitive but having dogs inside the restaurant, let alone jump on the counter for a snack is just not OK.This was not a service animal either it just seemed like the staff knew the person. View all feedback.
Absolutely amazing! Friendly and fast service. Store is clean and the food is fresh and so yummy! You can't go wrong choosing this location. Stephanie is awesome! Kind, knowledge about the food and coffees. She made us feel sowelcomed and was happy to see us for the 3rd day in a roll. She even thanked us for coming back.
Place sucks butt. Got there at 1:40 and they wouldn't let me order because they close at 2:00. If they have that bad of customer service....it will reflect on the food. Probably dodged a bullet.....Went there again to give them a second chance and made sure to get there before they closed early. So many people told me how good they are and I definitely was mislead. My daughter got the pizza bagel and they don't rotate the bagel in the oven, so it was burnt on one side. The muffins were burnt as well. Two chicken parmesans were literally burnt to where the chicken meat could have been used for a building material. The garlic onion bagel was like something you could have made a shoe out of, it was so leathery. Won't be spending $60.00 for that ever again. I will give them credit for the coffee cake.... it was the only thing that was good. Just get the coffee cake. Won't go there again, and I'm a local. 7/11 has better food and there is one at 50 and Carson and another on Emerald Bay Rd.
Love these bagels so much, the are soft but chewy, and fresh. The jalapeño cheddar are the household fave, but the other variations we've tried are also really good. We order through the Food Hub in Truckee and can't wait to visit the storefront next time we are in South Lake.
Bagels are very good but both coffees we got: almond joy latte and oatmeal cookie latte (this one especially) were undrinkable. I'd come back for the bagels but get better coffee elsewhere.
