Starbucks - South Lake Tahoe

Very nice, very modern Starbucks something you certainly wouldn't think about by looking from the outside. Also the barista that made my latte did an absolutely SPECTACULAR job!

I spent at least one serious afternoon here in late october of this year, utilizing the nice outdoor seating space to complete some urgently due homework. the outdoor seating area is not very spacious, but considering the wide open sky nearby, it was sufficient. in a table close to mine, several high school kids were talking about cannabis, and ways to get money from their various parentals. i'm not sure if they knew that people around them could hear them, my own headphones and a truly awful youtube playlist labeled Best study music to improve brain function 2021 notwithstanding. meanwhile, i had gotten a hot coffee with a little splash of creamer. as we all know, starbucks coffee is generally unremarkable, but i had been given a gift card and needed a place to loiter. this starbucks location had decent wifi.the staff were very friendly, and didn't mind that i had immediately forgotten the restroom password after they'd told me and had to ask x2. indoors was bustling, and had the general feeling of being inside of a car engine. not altogether negative, but again, the outdoor seating in full stark view of the vast emptiness of heaven is preferable, at least for this author. 4/5 stars.
