Contribute Feedback What Emory Swift likes about Jake's On The Lake:
View from 2nd floor outside was spectacular. Service was great and all the staff were friendly. Food was good but not as great as I expected for the price. Bison filet was really good, tender, lots of flavor, but it was barley warm. Kids salmon was really good, vegetables were asparagus spears that were very large, seemed strange for a kids meal. Apple pipe alamode (gluten free only available) was ok, would be better... View all feedback.
What Adalberto Mraz doesn't like about Jake's On The Lake:
Come for the ambience and the lake view, but not so much food. It's your normal American farewell, hard at the sauces, it won't disappoint, but it won't be exciting. This is said to save you space for dessert, cause that is where the calories are worth it! View all feedback.
(FYI: Dog friendly) only for lunch on the deck. Yesterday was our first visit to Jake?s, and there was no way I didn't have a glowing review of one of the best dinners I had in many moons. Hostess Olivia and Server Chrissy Trent were outstanding achievements. You can really tell the owner about the setting of the right people for every job because they all obviously have a lot of pride on the work they have done and give every customer the best possible experience. We ordered the braided short ribs divided the Dungeness crab cake as starter. Both were the kind of dishes you just send in the beautiful blue sky, swimming like a cloud with a huge smile on your face. (The braided short ribs were so delicate, you could eat them with only one fork. Culinary excellence! We will definitely come back. several times if possible!????? (Note about the photo with this review? The braided short rib section was so generous, we took half of it home to eat the next night. Heated slowly? Superb!
We haven't been there for years and didn't know what to expect, but as usual it wasn't disappointed. The drinks are from the hook, but the tacos are from this world. It was a Sunday afternoon and we were able to go directly and get places on the deck.

Delicious meal with a gorgeous back drop! Nina made our dining experience fun and easy. The food was spectacular and the drinks were tasty with a wide variety. Sit outside if you have the opportunity and go in the evening to watch the sunset, you won?t believe it.
Truly amazing experience. We were seated right on the lakefront with gorgeous sunset views, got delicious French wine, and amazing food.. we had appetizers, entrees, and dessert, all for under $100 a head. The staff was great and made the experience better. I Highly, highly recommend this restaurant if you are around!
