The friendly staff and delicious food make it a great choice for lunch or dinner. While some dishes may need improvement, the stunning views and warm service more than make up for it. With a unique location and a promising new management, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Whether you try the fried Calamari, Clam Chowder, Fish and Chips, or Blacked Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos, the overall experience is sure to be memorable. A hidden gem waiting to be discovered.
We went for happy hour and came back for dinner. The service is very friendly and the food is amazing. We had the shrimp appetizer in a goat cheese sauce that was delicious. Then we ordered the Salmon and it was a wonderful large piece that was really good. I would go back next time we are in SLT. The view is amazing. Thank you for a very memorable evening.
Good food but limited menu. One menu item was not availablel
This restaurant is on the pier over Lake Tahoe....beautiful views from every window or outdoor table. There are many plastic tables surrounding the outside of the restaurant and they would be a fun place for a casual drink to watch the sunset. The service was excellent and everyone was warm and welcoming The food, however, was poorly prepared. There was no or very limited taste to either of the entrees that we ordered. The clam chowder and the tortillas for the tacos were really barely edible...and both left an aftertaste in your mouth Additionally, the restaurant needs a good cleaning to remove the dust from all of the light fixtures, a good wipe down of all of the tables (both inside and outside) along with the window sills. Finally, all of the condiments need to be cleaned...left over and dried on hot sauce and catsup was the final straw for us with this restaurant Overall...a new cook, a good cleaning and more rigorous management of the restaurant would allow this great location to become a great restaurant.
Great for views and good portions of great food. menu limited, yet, super find. must walk through hotel suites to get to, surprisingly great. Ahi entree plenty as a meal, margaritas too sweet, didn't try the wine. quality food, pricey. great find.
We had a reservation for dinner at an early hour on Valentine's Day and were promptly greeted and taken into the towards the fully empty dining room. We had to wait and walk around a couple of waiters who seemed to be more interested in their own conversation while standing in our path than being aware of their surroundings. The hostess plowed along leaving us in her wake and left us to face the obstacle of waiters jawing away on our own. We were eventually walked to the most remote, most non-view and by- the-exit-door table; again we're talking an empty dining room here. We had seen a couple of tables with reserved signs on them but not on the window tables. We asked for another table, preferably by the window whereupon the hostess said those were saved'. We said that we would prefer one of the window tables. She said she would look into it to see if we could be seated there, then returned to her podium. We were left standing there in the dining room by an empty table for minutes. It wasn't until a busser came by and gave us a seat at that table. I'm not sure what happened to the hostess. Valentine dinner included a glass of champagne which came to our table warm. While enjoying my appetizer, the waiter brought our salads out and without asking promptly pulled my appetizer away in mid-bite to place my salad down in front of me. Luckily, he hadn't removed it from the table so I was able to swap the plates back so I could finish the appetizer. Otherwise, the food was very good as always as we have been here quite a few times. The service however seemed to be lacking tonight, possibly from an inexperienced staff and this detraction was what we remembered most from this evening.
