Large taproom with plenty of space and seating. They also allow dogs. No food, but they allow outside food to be brought in, and typically will have a food truck outside on the weekends. Note, the tap room can be hard to find. It is in the far back corner of the complex (look for the banner). The tanks with the Whalers logo and the trucks are for the brewing and bottling plant, NOT the taproom. View all feedback.
What Dennis M doesn't like about Whalers Brewing Company:
Their seltzers are the worst alcoholic beverage I have ever tasted in my whole life. I'm not sure why the continue to sell it when their beer is clearly a better product. View all feedback.

My family and I had the opportunity to visit this fun and delicious place when my brother-in-law graduated from Officer's School. It was so fun, I brought back some glasses. Well, they broke, and I contacted Whaler's before they had their new awesome shop. They sent two out right away! There are just good humans working there, coupled with a great atmosphere and of course the beer! Much love from Utah!
Its amazing to see the growth of a local brewing company over the past 6 years that I've been going. Sadly I don't get out to the Wakefield Area as much as I would like to, being that I'm about an hour drive from the brewery. Thankfully the whalers rise is making its way into almost every very local establishment, as well as package stores. Almost always have some in my beer fridge, as it's my favorite! Whether you bring to go food with you or order from the food truck there are now booths to sit and eat while you taste multiple seasonal brews. Plenty of games to partake in as well as sometimes music. The staff is friendly and very helpful with choosing the style of brew that will compliment your food or a flavor profile of choice. This is a very kid and dog friendly establishment, so bring them all.Cheers
Cool place! Cornhole, pool. Bring your dogs and cats, and apparently kids and babies, too, while you grab a flight of beers! Free water bottles for your DD. Too bad our gathering got cut short and we had to evacuate the building. Not sure why...nothing visible happened that we could see, but the alarm sounded and the firetrucks came to check it out. Well, it was fun while it lasted! We'd definitely go back again! ?
Amazing beer (Pieces and Muse were my favorite), and super friendly wait staff. Absolutely recommend for anyone who likes breweries.
