Waterside Garden Centre

This restaurant is always a great option with a bustling atmosphere. The homemade cakes are delicious and the service is excellent, with all staff members being very friendly.

I am a member of a group called the Peterborough Wisbech IA Illistomy Bag, and we celebrated our jubilee at this restaurant last Saturday. We used the functional space in the restaurant, and were able to rent the fun room for free. They provided us with tea and sandwiches that were delicious. The service was excellent and we are looking forward to coming back to this place.

My family went out for Sunday dinner and it was fantastic. There was a good selection of roast dishes and plenty of pudding choices. We ordered at the counter and received a number, then got our drinks and paid. Our food was brought to our table by friendly servers. This week, we had pork with crispy skin, apple sauce, stuffing, roast potatoes, assorted vegetables in a dish, and delicious gravy. Everything was freshly prepared and served hot. With drinks included, the value was excellent. We enjoyed a delicious cheesecake for dessert. The restaurant was beautiful, clean, and provided good service.

The place is very busy for Sunday afternoon, so we arrived early and ordered lunch (roast beef and sat down with the numbered spoon on our table, the meal came up very fast, and my opinion was up above...expecting the usual hurry, it was not hot at all and the quality of the meal was not as it was earlier as the meat grind restaurant would ever help hard management

We went to the Oasis Restaurant within Waterside Garden Centre for tea and cake on Monday July and was disgusted with the standard of hygiene. All the cakes were sitting in the fridge uncovered with flies sitting on them in vast numbers, we decided...this was not the place to have a drink and walked out. I spoke to one of the assistants on the way out who did not seem to care about the situation. Be warned if you buy a cake from the restaurant it could of had flies or other flying insects on it during the day or previous days. We will not be going back. Stay well clear!
