While some dishes, such as the fish and chips, disappointed with bland flavors and mediocre ingredients, others excelled, particularly the fresh seafood and steaks, albeit at a premium price. Guests enjoyed the comfortable accommodations and festive Christmas meals, highlighting the establishment's potential for memorable experiences. Despite occasional service missteps regarding seating for drinkers, many patrons expressed a willingness to return, drawn by the enjoyable ambiance and quality food.
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the waitresses and staff are friendly. However, it is a bit on the expensive side. Additionally, sitting outside under the canopy was cold, especially since we had our dog with us.
I recently visited the restaurant again and, as always, I couldn't find anything to fault. The food and beer were excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly.
Only visited the pub for lunch. Good food and beer was good. Service was also good.
Visited for a meeting and some food. Well looked after. Nice pub and nice atmosphere.
I cannot rate The Hare and Hounds highly enough! We went as a party of 12, it's lovely inside, the food was fantastic and the staff could not have been more accommodating.
