The restaurant appeared to have potential but was not suitable for families. If there are more than two or three people in your group and you want to sit together, you may be asked to sit at separate tables, which was disappointing. We observed several families walk away upon hearing this, and we wish we had done the same. The coffee was unpleasant and the food was lacking in flavor. We do not plan on going back.

This is a charming spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a scone. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly and attentive staff who provide quick service.

We ordered a cream tea each. Delicious homemade fruit scone with jam and cream, nice strong brew. All served in/on lovely old china. Staff very welcoming and friendly.

This traditional English teashop is a hidden treasure. We recently enjoyed a lovely lunch consisting of homemade quiche and salad, followed by a delectable coffee and walnut cake. The staff are welcoming, the service is excellent, and the decor is charming. We will definitely be returning in the future, without a doubt.

I popped in on my way through Stamford on a day out shooting film. Awesome service, fabulous produce and stunningly friendly owner. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates something traditional and of quality. Thanks Sarah
