The staff are great and very attentive but unfortunately the service is extremely slow if you order a coffee your be waiting 10 to 15 minutes if you order any panini or any kind of cooked food you could be kept waiting anywhere between 20 to 40 minutes, even if it's not busy, overall a nice place for a coffee but a shame about the wait. This charming cafe located in the heart of Long Bennington offers delicious coffee and cakes. Definitely worth stopping by.
I go to this restaurant every week for my drink and breakfast, and it's always fantastic. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. The breakfast is always top-notch with generous portions. #SixtyTwoalltheway!
The staff at this restaurant are delightful, but unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The food is average and priced too high for the quality. Despite the friendly staff, service is slow and often forgetful. There is potential for improvement, but they need to step up their game like their sister restaurant in Orston.
Thought we would stop here as it looked quaint and with outside seating . 4 people inside and 4 outside all but one served. Ordered and seemed to take ages for a Tea to arrive and then the table in front of us who had clearly been there longer than us received theirs. No joking but the Tea came some 15 mins later and no one else needed serving after us ! Then the food...well that took an extra 25 minutes (and i am being generous with my watch here) after the tea and by then i had drank the tea , rushed the food as i had been there an hour by then all for a sandwich and a cuppa . I could understand if there was a queue before us but everyone was fed and watered apart from us so why the hold up? Doubt i would return all the same as i would have to order a day before i think just to ensure it got to me in time. I hope they never get a rush on or it could be a nightmare scenario.
I often call in at the cafe if I'm passing whilst out on a bike ride. I've had bacon rolls, jacket potato and cakes and they've all been lovely. My only gripe is that the indoor part of the cafe is a bit on the small side and can only seat about 12 people. There is plenty of outdoor seating in front of the cafe, so you can sit outside if it's a nice day.
