What Adventure730044 doesn't like about No.14 St Mary's Hill:
The seating at this restaurant was very uncomfortable, with hard, cold stools. We were unable to book ahead to reserve a better table for our group of four. The small bites menu was indeed small. Despite ordering several dishes to share and plenty of wine, the staff were not accommodating when it came to giving us the correct number of salmon bites to share. This lack of attention to detail and customer service left... View all feedback. What funq1 likes about No.14 St Mary's Hill:
Visited for a light lunch. The room is well laid out with a number of tables and it was nice to have real flowers on the tables. We had a table by the window and looked out over towards the church. We had a cheese scone and a leek, cheese and potato pie with green leaves both were excellent, in fact my wife said it was the best cheese scone she has ever had, while the pie was light and very tasty. read moreNestled in Stamford, this cafe/bistro offers a mixed experience for diners. While the decor is bright and inviting, and the service ranges from warm to abrupt, many guests feel that the food fails to meet expectations. Small portion sizes and high prices have left some patrons disappointed, particularly with the tapas and light lunch offerings. However, others celebrate the exceptional wine selection and friendly atmosphere, especially during wine flights paired with tapas. Coffee enthusiasts rave about the high-quality brews served here. Overall, No. 14 garners praise for its ambiance but struggles with consistency in food quality and service.
