Candlesticks se encuentra en una tranquila callejuela en la parte más antigua de la ciudad mercado de Stamford. El edificio data aproximadamente de 1730. Originalmente eran cinco casas abandonadas y en ruinas, que fueron convertidas y restauradas con mucho cuidado en 1974. Candlesticks abrió sus puertas como restaurante en 1975 y ha estado bajo la misma propiedad desde entonces. Contamos con un aparcamiento privado fuera de la vía para residentes, además de un amplio aparcamiento público a la vuelta de la esquina.

My spouse and I dined at this restaurant 25 years ago during our honeymoon, and we were impressed by the charming ambiance, delicious food, and outstanding wine selection. We decided to revisit the place for our silver wedding anniversary, and we were pleased to see that the restaurant is still run by the same family. Our experience was just as wonderful as before. To top it off, when we settled our bill, the owner surprised us with an anniversary card. Such kind and thoughtful people.
I have been a loyal patron of Candlesticks for the past 15 years, and I have never been let down. The host provides exceptional hospitality, serves delicious meals in the restaurant, including a hearty cooked breakfast and a light breakfast option that can be enjoyed in your room from the fridge. They also offer a great variety of wines to pair with your meal, as well as a cozy bar with a selection of spirits and quality ports. Considering the price, Candlesticks offers great value for money. It is always my top choice.
