What jacquirb doesn't like about Black Dog:
Lack of real ale on tap to start. Ordered one starter and two mains. The starter came with the mains. The prawn cocktail was poor and my husband asked for no butter on the bread but got no bread at all. The roast turkey dinner was swimming in gravy why not put the gravy in a jug for the person to pour on themselves? The roast potatoes were deep fried ? The steak was tough and uncooked. This place found on a dog friendly website for a middle away. I had not expected much, but the place was busy, friendly and very good for good quality pub grub. our two dogs were very calmed there. incredibly good value, wall football if they like something like that. all in all, very good.
