Market Street Grill Oyster — South Jordan

Service was great but was given a few rotten oysters. 4 hours later, I am sick and vomiting and diarrhea. Called the restaurant and they said they discarded the bad oysters but do not feel obligated to provide any compensation. If anyone else out there today had a similar experience, please call and let them know. I’ve been going to the oyster bar for over 20 years and have never had a problem. My family and I have been coming to Market Street Grill forever and have always loved it. We went for dinner and it was terrible. The service was awful, and it seems like the prices have at least doubled since 6 months ago. I understand the price of everything but it seems like it’s way more expensive and not nearly as good. Hate to say it, because we were really excited to try it, but hands-down worst dining experience ever. My wife and I went here for our anniversary, and seeing a 6-top walk out in frustration should have probably been a red flag, but we stuck it through the first 20 minutes without getting greeted in hopes that things would improve. Great lunch, I had calamari and artichoke dip appetizers, the crab and avocado sandwich with cole slaw, and key lime pie. Everything was delicious except for the pie. Try a tort instead of you're having dessert.

Halibut with crab was delicious, as was the creme brulee. Service was a little rushed, but efficient and friendly since he was taking care of a table of 12—14, as well as us.
