Updated October 2020: The restaurant is open for dining in and it's still fantastic! I highly recommend it. We sampled several types of sushi, all of which were excellent. The highlight was definitely the exclusive experimental sushi taco, which had never been served before. The girls were absolutely thrilled with it! "Alright, the Texas roll turned out to be our favorite! This restaurant offers some really delicious rolls—we enjoyed every single one of them. Although the bar was closed during our visit, there was a $5 corking fee for wine, which was definitely worth it, so we brought a bottle. I can’t recall all the names of the rolls we tried, but every one of them was tasty. We’ll definitely be back!"
Brand new place. Upon entering the new paint smell is a little overwhelming but once they bring you the wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce (which came out shortly after being seated) all you can smell is that. We started with the Sake (Salmon) sashimi and the fish like melted in our mouths! Great quality! We ordered four rolls: rainbow, dream, playboy, and hidden dragon. By far, the Hidden Dragon was our favorite! So delicious! The dream was spicy and the playboy fine (compared to the hidden dragon). The rainbow roll was delicious. The fish was fresh and tasty. My only distaste was the rice stayed on the plate more than the roll, which may be their style or just due to the fact that it is brand new. It honestly wasn’t bad enough to drop my rating. I’m already looking forward to going back!
Today, I had lunch with a friend at Hokkaido, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The restaurant has a very spacious interior, so you don’t feel cramped like in some other sushi places. The decor is quite charming as well. The hostess greeted us warmly and was very friendly. It wasn't overly busy, but they still went out of their way to take care of us. I honestly think I've never had a better Vegas roll in my life, and my friend agreed! I would highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are very reasonable, and the sushi was beautifully presented, with some plates featuring lovely designs. I will definitely be returning soon!

Extremely nice staff! Space is limited with the pandemic, but we didn’t have to wait long. I hope this place stays around in South Jordan! We need a good, quick, affordable sushi spot. The Pablo Escobar roll slaps with the jalapeño, and the Wasatch roll will have you coming back. The Complementary spring rolls was a nice touch.
