I really love the curry noodles and the sushi burrito but I tried the teriyaki chicken today and it was great. It?s so flavorful with just the right amount of everything. It?s not too sweet or tangy it?s perfect. I also had the orange passion guava drink and that was great as well. View all feedback.
What Michael Cook doesn't like about Cafe Yugo:
Disappointing. There was only one staff member present, and it took 40 minutes to receive our food, despite being the only customers in the restaurant! I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl, but the chicken was really cold. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they didn't offer to replace it or give me a refund. My brother had the curry ramen, and he wasn't impressed either. I'm really disappointed that I spent over $30 and couldn't enjoy my meal.
This restaurant used to be a great spot, but now the staff is incredibly rude. The cashier was abrupt and easily irritated. When our food arrived, it was cold, and we even had to remind them about our dessert because they completely forgot it. I won’t be returning; the food was mediocre and the service was terrible.
I really wanted to like this place since it looked like a nearby place to get some ramen. Unfortunately every aspect of my experience here was bad. We paid over $50 for a meal that I barely ate half of. The Tonkatsu was ok, but the ramen was awful. Way too salty and no other real flavor. The pork in the Tonkatsu ramen seemed old. My wife and I both felt sort of sick to the stomach after eating here. Beyond this, the service was very meh and the seating arrangement and general layout made me very uncomfortable. They do have a small outdoor seating area which we tried, but then it started raining so we were forced to go back in to the cramped indoor seating. All in all I'm sad to say this is the worst place I've tried in Utah so far.
I'm giving 5 stars for flavor. I am picky when it comes to food and this place just had me wiggling of joy each bite. I ordered the Karai Miso Ramen and OMG it was soooo good. It had the right amount of everything and it was actually spicy, not like other places I have been that claim the ramen is spicy lol. I mean I do wish the staff was friendlier, but whatever, give me my food right and I will be happy. Also the boba drinks are on point! If you like ramen you will love this place.
