I came here with my family for my Dads 80th Birthday we had arranged a flight for him and food he did not know about flight until the pilot came out to get him he was soo surprised and thoroughly enjoyed the flight the food was lovely on the whole it was a lovely experience and all the staff were faultless so polite Thank you so much for making My Dad ,Richard s day special. The restaurant at the airfield is superb, well-kept, and consistently provides a warm welcome. It is above average for an airfield cafe, and we had a delightful light lunch during a refueling stop on our journey back home.
A colleague and I flew into Fenland airfield partly as in the past its restaurante had been particularly good. The management/ownership has changed recently but from our experience Runways will continue to make fenland an especially good destination. But it is not only for pilots. It is open to all and from our experience this week will do well, go from strength to strength
This airfield cafe has everything you could ask for - delicious food, welcoming staff, and outstanding views of air traffic. They also accept credit cards, making it convenient for customers.
Flew in for late breakfast this morning, which was a typical English breakfast. All I can say is that it was faultless and good to see the Café up and running again forward two minutes visits in the coming months.
Had a lovely walk and stopped in for breakfast, food was lovely and great value for money, not fast food but the quality was excellent, while waiting we watch the planes on the airfield, staff were all very welcoming and friendly, would highly recommend
