We always look forward to our Date Night at Sophie's, and it never lets us down. The Manhattans are excellent, and we love the stuffed mushrooms, wedges, fillets, and lava cakes. The service is consistently friendly, and Christine is especially wonderful—she always remembers us and our usual orders. She truly is the best!

The food was quite good, and the service provided by our waitress was excellent. We ordered fillets and truffle mac and cheese. I have to admit that I usually can’t really taste the truffle oil in mac and cheese, but this dish was enjoyable with all the cheese blended in. The crab-stuffed mushrooms had little crabs in them, but they were flavorful. The steaks were perfectly cooked, without any exaggeration. Our waitress was grounded and friendly, and you would never guess it was only her second night on the job; she was very capable. The pace of the meal was just right, and she frequently refilled our water and tea. The atmosphere was upscale, and the prices matched the experience. I would recommend that the restaurant display the menu outside so that potential customers can see the prices in advance and avoid any awkwardness. We noticed several couples and families leaving after they sat down and looked at the menu.
