A lovely place to stop, I had a superb hog roast roll, groaning with fillings, and my wife had a lovely plate of ham egg and chips. Fairly priced, very good quality, we’ll be back soon. Especially with the superb farm shop next door, and the fresh milk machine, really good work by the team here. The cakes look superb too if you are just stopping for tea View all feedback.
What 908Sl2 doesn't like about Valley View Cafe:
We have visited several times but have become increasingly aware at the lack of cleanliness particularly in the marquee area. We requested the table be wiped, every visit the ketchup bottles are unwashed, have old lids and look disgusting and unhygienic. A very dirty sofa sits in the corner. Unfortunately our brunch was ruined by wasps. We chose to sit outside and it was a very difficult experience. Some food wasn't eaten because of being totally surrounded by them.
Our quest for the best cream tea took us to the Valley View. We were not disappointed they were delicious! Be warned it comes with 2 massive scones with tasty jam thick clotted cream. Location was wonderful as we had a view looking over the valley. Definitely worth the trip there.
