Gastrobus - South Hams

I paid £3.70 for a very small serving of ice cream, which was gritty and not worth the cost. I chose the lemon cheesecake flavor, which was advertised as award-winning, but was actually quite unpleasant. However, the server was friendly.

Located slightly inland from the beach, the Gastrobus offers a diverse menu of excellent and freshly prepared street food. One van serves desserts while the other serves main dishes. The prices are very reasonable considering the location and high quality of the food. They are also accommodating of special requests, such as omitting cheese. Overall, I recommend trying out the Gastrobus.

A variety of delicious baguettes are available for lunch at this restaurant. I chose the Mozzarella, pesto, salami, and rocket one, which I thought would be even tastier toasted. However, when I requested it be toasted using their panini press, I was told it couldn't be done due to allergy reasons. I later saw another customer having their sandwich toasted, and when I asked about it, I was told it was for a staff member. I was disappointed that the same rule did not apply to everyone. When I questioned the staff about why they had a panini press if it couldn't be used, I was told it was a management decision. The service I received was poor, and I felt that the staff member was argumentative. Due to this experience, I do not plan on purchasing from this restaurant again.

Awesome last time we came my son, said it was the best burger in the world, so I tried the next day after surfing, but they stop serving at 3 pm so missed it. He wasn’t wrong, as I had one yesterday and it was so damn good, I had another again today. Not cheap, £9 for a burger £11 for the burger bacon and and cheese, but worth every penny. Miles better than the meal we had at The Sloop Inn
