Lovely place to go for coffee/ cake and a slow wander round the cute shops. Plenty of cakes and coffee’s to choose from. It’s then brought to your table, yummy to enjoy. The shop park of the cafe is full if tempting gifts of biscuits and chocolates. We will return and recommend

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise, as we didn't expect it to be so charming! We enjoyed a delicious and fresh cream tea and there was ample seating available both indoors and outdoors, depending on the weather. The restaurant had a large, modern undercover area where dogs were welcome, as well as an indoor seating area. The surrounding artisan shops added to the overall appeal of the place. We highly recommend this restaurant, but caution against following your sat nav, as it may lead you down narrow single track roads unnecessarily. Despite this, we had a good laugh with the staff, who shared that many visitors make the same mistake.

After viewing an ad in the local paper, we thought we would try this garden centre for lunch. Firstly this is a very popular venue, in fact quite a drive from Kingsbridge town actually nearer to Loddiswell, but certainly worth it, the scenery is spectacular and a very pleasant drive. The garden centre its self is very well stocked with plants and goodies, I’m sure you’ll find something you can’t live without! The cafe is in the centre of things with efficient staff and freshly prepared food, we certainly enjoyed our food, so much so, there was no room for afternoon tea, freshly baked scones, jam and cream, that’s for next time.

A lovely lunch with friends. Efficient service and great food. Highly recommend the chilli cream tea, absolutely delicious and really good sized scones, so satisfying after a very active morning of swimming. Also they were happy to serve extra hot coffee to help with warming up.
