I really don't like places where you have to do everything yourself. Here, this includes getting your own drinks, including seconds, getting your own cutlery, an d ordering your own food. This wouldn't be quite so bad if they were charging bar prices, but they weren't. Not a place I would go again, fir anything, I'm afraid View all feedback.
Sadly, it appears that they prioritize quantity over quality at this restaurant. The pre-buttered toast was mushy and made with the lowest quality and thinnest bread imaginable.
I had the blue cheese pancakes. Disgusting! Why put it on the menu? Swimming in oil from the melted blue cheese. My partner had a homecooked ham sandwich with barely any ham inside, though the chutney was nice but very little of it. Over priced. Very slow in serving the coffee. We waited a good 15 minutes. Totnes restaurants seem to think that you need to loose weight!
We visited the Seven Stars on a Sunday morning, in early February, for a late breakfast (11.15am). However, once I was able to get the attention of one of the members of staff behind the counter (they were busy chatting and weren't interested in greeting my arrival) we were told that they had finished breakfast. However, we did not see any signs stating what time breakfast was served until.

Called in on a Friday night after work and sat outside watching the world go by. Had a little bite to eat. Totnes is a bit alternative so people watching can be quite fun. Nice place for chilling after work
