The Fox - South Gloucestershire

We were a party of red has ladies lunch in the fox, eating was delicious and the service excellent. it was a very pleasant meal very safe and pleasant, we will return. we were very welcome and we were very well sought.

We went to lunch on Sunday, both roasted beef, the bark was very juicy and sufficient medium slices. it was accompanied by small roast potatoes, greens, very tasty red cabbage and a large round yorkshire pudding. it was also served with a lateral engraving boat of gravy and meerrettich sauce. that was all with their recommended bottle malbec wein, that was very nice and a good guide. for desserts we went for sticky toffe pudding and chocolate indulgence sundae we both enjoyed them very much. we were served by a very nice young man who was attentive and was not overlaid with his approach that we found refreshing. we couldn't find anything we recommend for the change. well done.

The service was decent and the prices were reasonable. However, the 4 seater table was too small for our party of 4, so we requested to be moved to a larger table. Unfortunately, the waitress did not handle our request well and made us feel guilty for asking.

Excellent food and really nice staff, would go again. Only one minor thing, would be nice if cocktails were delivered in cocktail glasses.

I have been here twice in the last month, once with family, the other with friends. The service has been very attentive but not too much. The food has been spot on. The dough balls are lovely!! It was nice and warm inside and a lovely atmosphere! Definitely recommend! I didn't get the name unfortunately, but the lady behind the bar with short brown hair she is a credit to the team! Very friendly and couldn't have provided better service.
