As a local we tend to eat here every few months or so for special occasions. At short notice my wife and I decided to eat there last Friday. At lunchtime I booked the final table for that evening in the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised to see ribeye steak as that weeks' special. I have to say that I found it one of the best steaks I have ever eaten, cooked just right medium/well done, really tender and a good... View all feedback.

What Patricia Walsh dislikes about The Beaufort Arms:
Went for a family lunch food was good But the drinks we’re over priced soda water was lemonade almost as much as a pint A shame as the meal prices had gone up too! View all feedback.

What a lovely pub in such a friendly and pretty village. We both had lamb shanks which were tender and beautiful and then shared the delightful raspberry meringue nest, which was excellent. Excellent value for money and all served with a smile!

Great Christmas meal at The Beaufort Arms last night. Myself and my partner couldn't fault it. Good food excellently cooked and hot. Service was very good. Wine very enjoyable. A lovely evening all round. Thank you to the team at The Beaufort.

Went with several members of my family for a pre Christmas get together. We had ordered The Christmas Menu in advance and were not disappointed. The food was cooked to perfection and was served piping hot. The beef was cooked beautifully and the roast potatoes were really lovely and crispy. As always the staff were friendly and welcoming. All in all a great evening out and worth every penny.

The Beaufort Arms offers a mixed dining experience. While some customers found the food to be good, others were disappointed by the service and quality. Some complained about overpriced drinks and lack of beer tasting options. However, there were positive comments on the friendly atmosphere and delicious home-cooked meals, with recommended dishes like Sunday Roast and Wholetail Scampi. Overall, the Beaufort Arms seems to have mixed reviews, with some patrons enjoying their experience while others were left wanting more.

Easy to park, very welcoming and a good variety of ciders at the bar. Lots to choose from on the summer menu so we decided to go for the small steak guinness pie In our opinion, the small size meal was perfectly...adequate for normal humans! It was served on hot plates and was itself piping hot. My only suggestion would be to increase the flavour of the stout and lessen the bisto flavour. I also know that serving puff pastry tops independently of the actual pie is easier for the kitchen but the dish then loses' something. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Great service full of locals and super friendly. The landlord is passionate about his beer and it shows!!! Food is home cooked the faggots to die for. Big portions……. I could go on but really great value for money third time we’ve been since lockdown....Try it if you like a friendly pub with great home cooked food.

Visited with family and a dog, we hadn’t booked but were welcomed by friendly staff who fitted us in. Sunday lunch was lovely! I had a small chicken dinner which was spot on. We will be visiting again! Would definitely recommend

Wouldn’t advise going here if you’re not local. A group of us went today and were not made to feel welcome. Didn’t have the food so can’t comment on that. Decent selection of hand pulled beers. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
