What RacheyPink doesn't like about Patisserie Valerie:
Three of us called in for a hot drink and a cake. I ordered a hot chocolate but was not asked if I wanted cream and marshmallows. I noticed other customers ordering hot chocolate were given this option. The service was slow. Our cakes arrived a while before our drinks. We waited a while to pay and even getting up and waiting at the till didn't prompt them in to action. Not once were we asked if everything was OK. The... View all feedback.
I like patisserie valerie in der mall cribbs causeway. it is a beautiful place to enjoy a place for lunch or coffee and cake. I used to have been tea at afternoon (I bought a voucher by groupon) and the afternoon tea was nice. the sandwiches and cakes were all really fresh and delicious. I was also there for lunch before I had her carbonara, which was delicious! I should have done that again! I would say it is a little expensive compared to some places, but eating is always of good quality and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
We were on the cribbs causeway who bought and we stopped at the patisserie valerie for a coffee and a snack. there are some places where they can have a coffee in cribbs, but what I like about patisserie valerie is that it is table service. so we sat at our table and looked over the menu. the place was busy, but the service was excellent, and we didn't have to wait long to order. my first choice was an aprikosendamm, but they had run out. So I went with my second choice, which was not a baked, but valeries walisische rarebit. our food arrived immediately, which was nice, especially since the place was quite full of diners. Valerie’s welsh rarebit was roasted with a pickled egg, tomato cahutney, cheddar, slender with a beside salad. I don't think I ever had rarebit, so I was interested to see how it would be. that was a beautiful freches toast dish, the senf was subtle and added warmth. the fried egg was perfectly cooked. I liked the tomato chutney that was on the side, I thought it was a little too sweet for me. overall it was a really nice light meal. I think one of the reasons I had not ordered or had before was that I was actually looking for cake or a complete meal. Valerie’s welsh rarebit for me is more of a snack, or a light meal. next to me I had a flat white, not the best flat white of the world, but it was a good coffee.
Very busy, but acceptable waiting for table assignment, placement and reception of food. but service engagement low and afternoon tee a bit lacking. no ambiente
Visited here for a cream tee (before lockdown 2) and it was amazing. I had food intolerances and they were more than happy to help in the choice of sandwiches and make changes that were necessary for me. the waitress was very friendly and helpful. the price was a good value for what they get. the sandwiches, cakes and drinks were amazing. the service was fast. the restaurant was clean and tidy. there are good social distancing measures. can not wait to visit again when the lock-off is finished.
Service slow. eat them well as ever. very helpful staff.
