Part of our stay at the Tracy Park Golf and Country Hotel were two remarkable dinners here, in a quiet dining room. My baked local trout in hollandais was as good as I have had. View all feedback.
What itsmyopinionok doesn't like about Masons:
Pro 's 1) Excellent location and surroundings. 2) Friendly staff 3) Prices are 'reasonable ' Con 's 1) Limited Menu (menu should also be published on their website). 2) The food was disappointing. Flavorless lamb and huge tasteless croquette. 3) Staff need better training. For example, don 't bring the bill and stand at the table waiting. 4) We had to walk to the bar to pay as for some reason a card machine could not... View all feedback.
Went there for a Sunday roast was not dissapointed food was great lovely choice of starters main and desserts even tho we never had a dessert reason being we were to full from the starters and main masons was lovely and warm fire glowing all staff were happy to help and polite could not fault the day apart from the weather but it never dampen the food would deffo eat there again if they don't change their chefs!
Restricted menu but fantastic tasting food and good value.Venison the best I have tasted so tender and my wife said fish choice was delicious. Wine list well priced.Nice venue but was almost empty which is a shame as it deserves a good clientel. Bar food also has separate menu which is served in adjacent bar
I was tried the fantastic restaurant in connection with a short work related stay at Tracy Park. I was there alone but would be more than happy to invite either business or my wife.
Lovely vaulted room, chilly without the fire on. Limited menu for the day we dined, it was the middle of the week. The white wine not quite chilled enough. In my opinion slightly over priced.
Good food which could have been great. No dressing on the caesar salad and lamb was a bit too pink. Not quite enough attention to detail and they weren't busy. Such a shame.
