Lunchtime was hectic, especially after three hours shopping. We finally returned here as none of the other choices had the sort of snack we required.Seating overlooking the chalk downs and valley with the lake below was great. Service was surprisingly speedy and all at a very good price. View all feedback.
What traveltrev doesn't like about Marks Spencer Deli:
Popped in for a coffee at about 2'ish on a tuesday afternoon in November. The service seemed incredibly slow, we waited about 10 minutes for a tray then another 10 or 15 to reach the service area, we had picked up toasties but the word coming back down the queue was that they took 30 minutes to heat so we put them back and selected a sandwich instead. The coffee, when it came was hot and good but the wait was stagger... View all feedback.
The loopy Chief Executive in charge of M&S who claims to know “Mrs M&S” has taken another giant step in destroying M&S The Deli restaurant in Cribbs M&S has been closed down and removed Not only has the Beijing women’s clothing become a complete joke but the oasis where customers could have nice food and drink has gone Great management decisions More money available to pay buyers to cruise around the Far East looking for more disgusting clothing to buy by the container full and tell “Mrs M&S” this is what you want to wear
Can't believe it, made the journey from Hampshire to Cribbs for X as shopping and so looking forward to our usual lunch a the deli. SHUT! What an absolute travesty, this was one of the main reasons for travelling to Cribbs. Just spoilt our Christmas shopping trip. M&S appear to be losing the plot.
So sad to see that the deli bar is shut and not reopening?!! Why?? Always always busy, yes a little cold but that could’ve been rectified? Seems M&S not listening to their customers?
Well the Deli is closing, not sure why ...... perhaps it's because of Marks and Spencer failure to listen to their customers. Absolutely freezing cold in here, the only restaurant I have ever been to where you need to wear a coat to eat. The food has however always been pretty good. It they thinks the first floor cafe will be a replacement in any way then think again ...... it's an absolute pigsty, dirty tables, uncleared and inexperienced disinterested staff sums this up. The occasions we have been in for afternoon tea then we have had to clear **** off the tables. AVOID and star rating 2/10
I really used to love going here but it’s changed it doesn’t feel so clean and the staff there used to be so friendly and attentive. None of these things this time. Food ok, salad seemed a little old not nice and crispy. I hope it was a blip or just a busy day. I will return one early evening when shopping to see as I do enjoyed having a drink and snack in the middle of shopping.
