The staff was fantastic, the food was wonderful, and the restaurant was beautifully clean. I would highly recommend a visit - it's the best value in the area by a long shot.

I had a great experience with my customized cream tea box. The food was delicious and thoughtfully put together. I will definitely be purchasing the Christmas box next month.

We stopped at this restaurant for breakfast on our way to visit family. The staff was very friendly and talkative, all wearing masks, and there was plenty of hand gel available. The breakfast was the best we have had in a long time - we ordered a large breakfast and it was very filling. Plus, you get a free tea or coffee with it. We also took some sponge cake with us and it was the best cake we have ever had - very light with butter icing that wasn't too sweet. The cafe, food, and staff come highly recommended. We hope to visit again the next time we travel up north. A big thank you to all the staff for making our breakfast stop a pleasure.

My first visit. Had the large breakfast, with a free cup pf coffee, and was well impressed! Menu looks varied and caters for all. All staff were extremely welcoming and genuinely interested in looking after you. Best value for money locally. Will definately visit again. Highly recommended.

My partner and I have just visited this little gem of a cafe after many years of absence, we were put off it when the cafe was ponsified into a gallery-style cafe with just the basic paninis etc., very underwhelming, not to mention the the ridiculous amount of wasted public money that was spent doing it up! We are so glad to see it’s got its heart back with an owner/cook who knows how to provide a wonderful breakfast at a great price. Thank you. We will definitely be back.
