Gandhi Portishead Bristol

My husband and I chose this restaurant based on their reviews and we were not disappointed. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Portishead. The staff greeted us warmly as soon as we arrived and seated us at a lovely table that I had reserved in advance. The restaurant was the nicest Indian restaurant we had ever been to - very clean, modern, and spacious. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Dopiaza, Pilau rice, and a garlic naan, along with 2 pints of Cobra lager and 2 large glasses of Rose Zinfandel wine. All of this came to a very reasonable price of under £42. The food was fantastic - the lamb was tender and melted in your mouth, and the chicken tikka was cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a great curry, be sure to visit this restaurant.

We recently enjoyed one of the best Indian meals we've had in a while at this restaurant. The staff were friendly, the seating and table were comfortable, and the service was great. The food was well cooked and presented. Prices were very reasonable. We would definitely return when we are in the area again.
