At The Bodkin - South Gloucestershire

We had an amazing joint 50th birthday party at this restaurant. Our evening was wonderful, with great food that met our dietary needs perfectly, attentive service, and private dining for 11. It was a perfect evening, thank you so much!

We celebrated a 60th birthday with a lunch/dinner party at this restaurant. The room was beautifully decorated for us, the food was fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The service and overall experience were excellent.

I arranged an 80th Birthday lunch for my husband and our close family 18 of us) . We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue! The decor is beautiful as are the grounds). We had a beautiful private dining room opening onto a patio. Matthew and Gaynor couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful both with the arrangements and on the day) . The food was delicious, the service perfect. Thankyou both for making it a very special day! We all agree we will be back !

It was our first visit to the Bodkin under its new management refurbishment. We were made to feel very welcome seated in the sun room which was light, roomy comfy. There was a good, varied choice on the lunch menu which was freshly cooked delicious! We can highly recommend the wiltshire ham, egg chips, sea bass the chicken cider mustard pie. Puds were delicious too! The Bodkin is well worth a visit.

We visited without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The food was expertly prepared and delicious. While it may not be considered fine dining, the limited menu allows for focused and excellent cooking.
