Denny's - South Gate

Came in to eat during AM with my GF. For a moment thought I was somewhere else, the customer service experience Joseph and Diego provided, was outstanding excellent service. These gentlemen were keen to detail, positive energy all around, and great experience all around. Food quality was on point!

I love this Denny’s, it’s always clean and the staff is amazing. Our server was Carlos and he was amazing. Never had to ask for a refill he was always a step ahead. Thanks for taking care of us!

Lovely, cozy spot for breakfast. It feels more like a family-run establishment, but I also enjoy coming alone, and it’s always a pleasant experience. The staff is courteous and professional, and the breakfast is fantastic!

On Sunday, my two kids and I went out for breakfast. The restaurant was quite busy, and we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Given the crowd, I anticipated our food would take some time to arrive. I ordered two breakfast meals for my boys and sandwiches for myself. Our server, Carlos, was fantastic; he kept my coffee filled while updating us on the status of our food. I requested a side of Goldfish crackers, and he promptly brought them over, joking that he had just caught the fish for us. Once our food arrived, we kept checking in, and everything was delicious. Overall, we had a great dining experience with excellent food and service.

I visited the South Gate Denny's on Firestone/Garfield at 4 a.m. on June 9, 2022, and I was really impressed with my server, Diego. He provided amazing and professional service, demonstrating excellent customer care.
