Excellent farm and sea to table restaurant in Farmingdale NJ. They list all of the sources on the wall. We really enjoyed our dinner. Long Island Duck breast and Jambalaya. Fresh clams. Our server Sierra was wonderful. BYOB with free parking outside and in the lot behind the restaurant. View all feedback.
What arlene petri doesn't like about Harvest In Farm:
Lack of staff and the inability to accommodate our seating request that was verified made this dining experience terrible. They sat us in the dungeon room and after decent appetizers the overworked waitress served my wife and her friend a horrible steak and scallop special that was overpriced at 56.00.Had to be sent back raw and came back grey like it was microwaved. Will not return. Had a great dinner called last minute and was happily accommodated. Food was delicious I had the steak which was perfect with asparagus and roasted potato, my wife ordered to polenta apps one with shrimp which was great. Beet salad and a really good cheesecake. Relaxed atmosphere and service was spot on! Jim Brown Aug 2024

Another small place with big tastes! Unique tastes that just make your mouth water for more. The addition of kale and spinach to the Cesar salad was a nice touch. Lamb crostini with a hint of mint, delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection, served hot and with a smile, thanks to our awesome server Dana. A bonus that it is BYOB as well : Looking over the menu, there are a few more things that we need to try. I can see why you need a reservation!
This is such a cute place to hang out and have a great culinary experience . Food is organic and so well prepared. The calamari is to die for. Parking is hard to find but you should try to go to the back which there usually parking. Also, there is a liquor store next to it as this place is BYOB. I recommend to make reservation otherwise you might get there in vain.
Harvest is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. True local, farm fresh ingredients, cooked served by locals who have a passion for their craft. The menu is always changing, which I love. The options blend between classic and refreshing new dishes that pop with flavor. The service is very friendly and welcoming. My favorites have been the short rib, apricot goat cheese crostini, and the recent mole pork chop. The entree sides have been perfectly paired to round off plates flavor nutrition profile. I feel so great after eating here, this is nutrient dense food no doubt. I'm not a big dessert guy but my friend insisted we split the chocolate mousse cake. Absolute heavenly! Not too heavy, went perfectly with coffee to end a delicious meal. I can't wait to go back here especially in the summer when the farm is in full swing. Thank you Harvest, you rock!!!
